Michelle Kitto from Urban Spools was in town and we met up at SFMOMA. No photos allowed of the Cindy Sherman exhibition, but it was fantastic–HIGHLY recommend. My second favorite thing was the Contemporary Painting 1960-present exhibition, selections from the SF MOMA collection.

Ok, This piece below by Julie Mehretu totally captured me. Its like a million paintings in one. It all works together yet you can take any portion of it and it is its own world. American, yet Ethiopian born, Mehretu “explores the infrastructures of power and individual social agency in her paintings”
